Bone Health and Osteoporosis Program
The Bone Health and Osteoporosis Program is a comprehensive and interdisciplinary program designed to address issues related to skeletal health.
The goals of this program include:
Bone Mineral Density Scans (DEXAs)
Our bone densitometry unit, a Hologic Delphi W, allows us to provide patients with on site, state-of-the-art imaging on a scheduled and walk in basis. The hours of operation are from 9:00 am - 3:45 pm, Monday through Friday. For an appointment, please call 312-695-1880.

Bone Health and Osteoporosis Program
The Bone Health and Osteoporosis Program is a comprehensive and interdisciplinary program designed to address issues related to skeletal health.
The goals of this program include:
- Identifying patients at high-risk for developing osteoporosis, a condition associated with reduction in bone strength;
- Prescreening and providing appropriate treatment when indicated;
- Providing modern advanced osteoporosis care to the complex patient, including those with glucocorticoid-induced, post transplant, and premenopausal osteoporosis;
- Preventing new and recurrent fractures;
- Increasing awareness in the medical and lay community about osteoporosis and the long-term importance of bone health;
- Participating in clinical research to further advance the knowledge of and treatment options for osteoporosis.
