Acute and Emergency Care
Immediate treatment of an injured employee is essential. Trained in workplace injuries, accidents and exposures, our professionals know how to react, foster healing and support individuals as they prepare to return to work. We understand that immediate, accurate treatment is only the first step in managing a work-related injury, and we work hard to ensure the best possible outcome with the least time lost from work.

Employee Health Services
In addition to injury treatment and post-accident drug and alcohol testing, Northwestern Occupational Health has extensive experience with post-offer physical exams (including job function screens) and drug testing as well as municipal, state and federally required services including Department of Transportation (DOT) physicals and drug testing, Illinois School Bus physicals, and law enforcement and firefighter physical exams.
In addition, we manage annual programs to satisfy OSHA requirements for respirator use, exposure to Ethylene Oxide and for Tuberculosis (TB) and hearing conservation. Help is also available to establish and manage random drug and alcohol testing programs.

Northwestern Occupational Health can organize health fairs at your work site. During the fair, we're able to conduct baseline testing, provide one-on-one counseling and suggest lifestyle and dietary modifications that can result in healthier, more productive employees. Offerings typically include:

We can provide non-physician services at your workplace, including immunizations, drug screens, spirometry, educational services to meet OSHA requirements and more. In addition, we can organize health fairs onsite, or offer wellness and exercise programs.
